Vagbhatta suggested Nimba taila in Nasya form in the treatment of Khalitya(Alopecia), Paalitya(Grey hair), etc. Sushruta described it in the preparation of netrajanana. Nimba pushpa is used in Nasya karmas and leafy juice is indicated in the worm infection, jaundice and skin diseases. Krimi - (Abdominal worm infection) Juice of the Nimba leaves and Amalaki fruit mixed with ghee alleviates urticari and other3skin diseases.
